On 25 September 2003 the Bangladesh Health society "the Netherlands" (BHSn) was established by president Henk Kinders and secretary Jan de Neree. On the same day BHSn had been incorporated in front of public notary Van Houtum residing in Zevenaar, the Netherlands.
Objective of BHSn is to provide free dental care to poorest population of Bangladesh. The scope of the articles however is drafted to enable every medical specialim working for BHSn.
For example: on a regular basis a specialist from dhaka (the capital city of Bangladesh) is contracted to come to the ship to perform surgery on a identified group of people like for instance schizis-patients.
Necessary material is in general sponsored via donations (click left for `donations’) and sale of, for example, freshwater pearls from Bangladesh (click left for ` freshwater pearls`).
The emphasis for BHSn refers to fundamental dental care (extraction) and training of local dental assistents ("dental nurse"), who reside at the ship.
